What does it mean to be a SemeAd Volunteer?<\/p>

It means being part of a community that transforms research and practices in the field of administration in Brazil.<\/p>

It means being connected to other students and professors of postgraduate programs in Brazil as actors of transformation.<\/p>

It is to be the strength of one of the biggest management events in Brazil and Latin America.<\/p>

THE SEMEAD VOLUNTEER IS THE DRIVING FORCE OF THIS EVENT WHICH INVOLVES MORE THAN 4 THOUSAND PEOPLE!<\/p>

In 2022, we impacted around 4,000 authors, 1,800 reviewers, 1,300 congress participants, 75 journal editors, 42 representatives of international institutions, 233 Brazilian institutions, and all this only happened with the support of approximately 400 volunteers.<\/p>

<\/p>

In 2023, our volunteers skillfully managed the challenges of one of the first and most complex hybrid events, which involved activities such as:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

SEMEAD AMBASSADORS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The 26th edition of SemeAd innovates by establishing the volunteer program called SemeAd Ambassadors.<\/p>

There are more than 40 students from postgraduate programs in Business Administration in Brazilian institutions, indicated by the program coordinators to publicize the benefits of the event in their institutions.<\/p>

We want to impact all regions of the country through the activities and opportunities generated in SemeAd.<\/p>

Pre-Doctoral Consortium:<\/strong> opportunity for masters and master’s students to submit their doctoral pre-projects in order to receive assistance and guidance from professors at SemeAd partner institutions.
Doctoral Consortium:<\/strong> improvement of doctoral thesis projects.
Paper Submission Sessions:<\/strong> Authors have the opportunity to receive feedback on their papers and research.
Sapiens \u2013 Improvement of Scientific Articles for Publication:<\/strong> the objective is to contribute with the experience of senior researchers for a better forwarding and improvement of submitted works, so that they are sent to high impact national and\/or international journals
Workshops, workshops and short courses:<\/strong> activities aimed at in-depth discussion of research topics, as well as practices to improve research and training in the most advanced techniques that will allow conducting research and publishing high-impact articles.
Fast Tracks:<\/strong> authors have the possibility of having their articles indicated for desk review in more than 73 national and international academic journals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

INTERNACIONALIZATION<\/span> activities that connect researchers from all over the world:<\/b><\/span>\"\"<\/p>

  • Conecta:<\/strong> submission of projects that generate opportunities for connections between researchers from different universities in Brazil and around the world to develop joint research and exchange teaching practices.<\/li>
  • Lectures with Business speakers:<\/strong> lectures by entrepreneurs and strategic managers of organizations recognized for the quality of their management.<\/li>
